MIND Research Institute’s Algebra Readiness is a new, one year curriculum that rebuilds a solid math foundation for struggling middle and high school students who would otherwise enroll in, and fail, Algebra I. The innovative learning sequence and distinctive visual diagrams of its textbook fully explain and interconnect all the essential math concepts and skills from grades 2 through 7, which form the foundation for success in Algebra I. The text is fully integrated with MIND’s unique Spatial Temporal courseware which engages students who struggle in conventional math programs.

|
The ST Math™ product family consists of engaging courseware which employs the learners’ spatial temporal reasoning abilities to explain, understand, and solve multi-step math problems. The language barrier to learning math is eliminated, and the program has proven uniquely engaging and effective with students at every level of math and language proficiency.
ST Math: K-5 is comprehensive, grade-level math courseware aligned to state math standards and is appropriate for supplementing any third party text. ST Math: Algebra Readiness Supplemental is a comprehensive intervention program for middle school which helps students master the essential building blocks – from basic math facts up through introductory algebraic equations – for success in Algebra I. It is appropriate for supplementing any 3rd party text. |

ST Math+Music™ combines the research-based music curriculum to the ST Math: K-5 courseware. MIND’s original research showed that music training improved spatial temporal reasoning, the cognitive skill used by the courseware to teach and illustrate math principles. In combination, the music training and the courseware have achieved dramatic gains in test scores. Music has a mathematical architecture, and as young students learn music they are also learning to recognize patterns and symmetries, and experiencing and hearing the concepts of counting and fractions. There are four levels of instruction in reading sheet music and playing piano, from K/1 through 4th grade. | |||
